HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE OPERATIC WORLD

“OPERAPERLUR” is a classical theatre concert for the whole family.

The program features well-known arias, duets, and choral pieces from various operas, along with humorous stories and theatrical performances intended for audiences of all ages.

The songs will be performed in Italian, French, English, and German, but there will also be brand-new translations.

Among other highlights, Klaksvíkar Manskór will perform a song from the opera The Flying Dutchman by Richard Wagner, translated into Faroese by Birita Adela Davidsen.

The soloists will be Birita Adela Davidsen and Herfinnur Árnafjall, together with Klaksvíkar Manskór, both school choirs from Skúlatrøð, and the Operettas from Opera.fo.

Polina Fradkina will provide piano accompaniment, and Annfinnur Heinesen will serve as host.
